キム・ウォニョンは、2011年より舞台芸術の分野で活動する振付家・パフォーマー・作家であり、初期には演劇制作、バリアフリーアクセス、人権法に焦点を当ててきた。彼の作品は、法的規範の枠組みを超えたマイノリティの身体経験や、障害のある身体の美学的表象を中心的なテーマとしている。
2018年以降、キム・ウォニョンは、社会的秩序や技術的環境のなかで身体がどのように可視化され、あるいは不可視化されるのかを探究するオリジナル作品を振付・出演してきた。これには、『Becoming-dancer』（2021–2024）、『Recognition Struggle: Artist Version』（2024）、『Moving as Prosthetics: Machine, Affordance, Care』（2024–2026）などが含まれる。
また、障害とダンスの交差点を考察した著書『完全に平等で、非常に差別的な』（みすず書房、2026年）の著者でもある。

Wonyoung Kim is a choreographer, performer, and writer active in the performing arts since 2011, initially focusing on theatre production, barrier-free access, and human rights law. His work centers on the aesthetic representation of disabled bodies and minoritarian experiences beyond legal norms. Since 2018, Kim has choreographed and performed in original pieces exploring the visibility of the body within social orders and technological environments—including Becoming-dancer(2021-2024), Recognition Struggle: Artist Version(2024), and Moving as Prosthetics: Machine, Affordance, Care(2024-2026). He is also the author of Perfectly Equal, Deeply Discriminatory (Misuzu Shobo, 2026), examining the intersection of disability and dance.
